KTM Nepal
has opened the bookings for the upcoming KTM 250 Adventure in Nepal. The upcoming KTM 250 Adventure is priced at Rs 7.49 Lakh. The KTM 250 Adventure is expected to further grow the (KTM Adventure) franchise by encouraging customers to take their first step into the world of adventure biking, says KTM.
Although the KTM 250 Adventure is based on the KTM 390 Adventure platform, it misses out on several gadgetries offered on its larger sibling. The bike gets a pentagon-shaped single headlamp cluster which is a halogen unit but gets LED DRLs. The bike also gets a fully digital LCD instrument cluster, a 14.5-litre fuel tank with cascading step-up seat, alloy wheels, and an upswept exhaust.
Mechanically, the KTM 250 gets the same 248cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which churns out a power of 30 hp and 24 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a six-speed gearbox and gets mechanically operated slip and assist clutch. The KTM 250 Adventure also gets 43 mm WP Apex inverted forks with 170 mm front-wheel travel and WP Apex mono-shock with 177 mm of rear-wheel travel. Braking duties are handled by a large 320 mm front brake disc and a 230mm rear disc supported by a dual-channel ABS. The bike also gets off-road ABS.
